I never try to be

Image from: Flickr

Sadly, It raining again,
My heart feels sad,
all day long,
I try to be the light,
and all the sweetest thing,
I can think about,

But no,
It’s not enough,
It’s not what I want to be,
No matter how,
hard I tried,
It will never be me,

Singing in loneliness,
Crying in sadness,
falling in love with you,
I don’t think I can try,
because I never try to be,
as you wanted.

No, I don’t think this will work,
Not even the slightest,
melody can change me,
I will always be me,

Singing in sadness,
Live in loneliness,
Is what I’ve been through,
I don’t think I can try,
Because I never try to be,
as you wanted.

I can’t,
It’s not me anymore,
So we should stop pretending,
Let us fall apart,
and wait love joins us again.

  1. Singing in loneliness, Crying in sadness… is it really you? Or is it how you’ve been because you couldn’t be otherwise?
“…Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

    1. Thank you. I really appreciate it. I couldn’t find a way to follow your blog. I can’t find the follow button or follow through email. You have a nice blog and it will be a loss for me because I want to follow it.
