I don’t own it,
It looks dull to everyone,
It was my everyday walk,
To the office from the nearest train,

The pavement worn out,
Covered with lush bushes,
Rows of ancient trees,
And couple of lovey-dovey birds,

It is the same walk everyday,
But it bind my soul to stay.

#NaPoWriMo2019 Day 12: write a poem about a dull thing that you own, and why (and how) you love it. Alternatively, what would it mean to you to give away or destroy a significant object?
