    • Previously I would blog every day but now, three times a week.

THE QUESTIONS

What inspire you to blog?
– I was inspired when I started to focus on writing again. Poetry mainly. Instead of just writing them in my book, I wanted to share it with the whole world. My current guess, I still shared less than 1% of the world population.

How do you get ideas for blogging?
– Just about anything actually. From watching a movie, listening to songs, reading others, eating cake and more.

How do you define poetry?
– For me, poetry is a voice. A voice that wanted to be share with others. Do you agree?

Do you consider poetry as a form of art?
– Of course, poetry and other literature works are the art of words. Poetic is artistic in a sense.

How often do you read posts in Reader on Word Press?
– Daily. I read them daily. In the morning, afternoon and evening.

Do you agree that writing is a form of healing?
– I agree. Sometimes we can’t express ourselves fully. If we are angry, we might just snapped and smash something in front of us. However, when we write them, we tend express it in a different form. Once, you are done with the final period. Tell me, isn’t that the most satisfying feeling?

Does writing promotes mental relaxation for you?
– Sometime yes and sometimes no. I can be drained sometimes especially when I’m doing prompts.

Have you tried writing for kids?
– I never really think about it.

Who is your favorite author?
– Jane Austen. Just because I really love her books.

Who is your favorite poet?
– Emily Dickinson. I like her choice of words, her forms, her voice in her poems and themes. Some or if not most of my poems influenced by her works.

Any favorite poems?
– I’m nobody! Who are you? by Emily Dickinson.

Another Sunshine For Me!

Her Questions:

1. Introduce yourself as if you really want me to know you and you know I wouldn’t judge even if you say your secret crush is Hitler
OR
Just introduce yourself in five words.
– A currently jobless guy with two years experience as Corporate Service Officer in a rising property development company and two years experience as a Content Editor in the biggest IT company in South East Asia. Now, a blogger, a writer and a poet. That is my pitch whenever I apply for a job at Jobstreet.

2. If you never have to work and never have to worry about money anymore, what will you do?
– Somehow this is my current situation except for the money. I will most likely blog more, write more, eat more, cook more, series binge-ing more, movies everyday and travel of course.

3. What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
– Not really sure on the craziest thing because I usually the one that followed the rules. Maybe it was this one time when I hang out with my friends from the evening and came home at dawn and straight to work without sleeping. It was hell and I  am not proud of it.

4. Favourite movie of all time and why so?
– My favorite movie? Out of all the movies I watched? This is hard. I’ll approach this by genre and I’d go for romance. The Notebook is my favorite.

5. Share with me your quirky-est nickname and how did you get that?
– My quirkiest nickname would be Mr. Lifeless. I got it when I was in college and because of my unenthusiastic reading and expression in class, my lecturer dubbed me with that nickname. Soon, the whole class has their own nickname.

6. What is your greatest weakness?
– My greatest weakness would be my own personality. I am a ISFJ-A which most likely too altruistic and can be quite conventional sometimes.

7. What is your greatest strength?
– My greatest strength as stated would be super supportive, reliable and patient. The personality test was a nail on so I’d go with that.

8. What is your best childhood memory?
– My best childhood memory would be getting my first video game console. It was silly how I  get  it actually. Haha.

9. If you can only keep five possessions, what would that be?
– Actually, I’m not sure what I want to keep. Can good family be considered as possessions?

10. What is the biggest character turn-off for you?
– Toxic character. I had my experience and it is definitely something not worth remembering.

11. If you could have any superpower, what power would it be and why? – it must be skills, not something like time-travelling or immortality.
– That would be a fast runner like Quicksilver in X-Men.

When it comes to movie, you should find her. Her blog is dedicated for movies and she is also an award winning filmmaker and screenwriter! She has a great fashion sense too!

1. How long have you been blogging, and what made you get started in the first place?

– I actually started blogging since 2009. It was blogspot back then. As maybe for everyone around that time, I blogged because I want to express something and the blog ended up like a personal diary. In the end, I decided to delete the blog.

2. Say that you could interview someone on your blog, who would it be and why?

– I would like to interview Mr. Garth Nix. He is the reason I enjoyed fantasy books. I have tons of question for him.

3. What is your favorite movie or book of all time?

– My favorite book of all time would be Pride And Prejudice. Yep… Jane Austen!

4. Do you own any special movie or book or other merchandise? A special item that you can’t live without? If so, what is the thing that you like the most in your collection?

– Come to think of it. I actually don’t.

5. Is there anything you would like to do someday, but just have not yet been able to accomplish ?

– Skydiving! At least once in my lifetime, I want to try it.

6. What is the post you are most proud of, and why is that?

– I’m proud with all my posts. 😀

7. Has there ever been a post on your blog that you have regretted writing? If so, why is that?

– I don’t think I have.

8. Why did you get interested in your chosen subject?

– I’m not sure which subject is this. If it is about poetry… I’ll answer this with a post later! 😀

9. Do you have any goals that you would like to ultimately achieve with your blog?

– Ultimately, honestly speaking, I want to be famously known a poet and I’ll ride with my blog.

10. If you could have one famous person from history over to your house for dinner, who would it be and why?

– Prophet Muhammad pbuh. We all have someone we love and adore so much even though we never met them in real life. Not even in the same era.

11. What was the worst movie, book or product that you have ever seen, read or used?

– Worst movie I regretted so much watching would be Assassin Creed. It feels so wrong to like it in any aspect!

1. Do you have any imaginary friends?
I once had one. His name is Jack.

2. Have you ever been to the beach or would like to go?
I’ve been to the beach before. I enjoyed the beach as long as everything looks nice. (Bad experience with nasty, dirty and given me sore eyes beach)

3. Have you ever entered a writing contest?
Never. Would like to join if possible now.

4. If possible would you go into writing as a career or will it just be a hobby for you?
I am currently in the transition of making writing more than just a hobby. The urged of wanting to spend my days writing are more… insatiable.

5. Do you like to sing?
It is a lie if I say no. So, YES!

6. Do you listen to music while you write?
Yes! The moment turned dull and plain without music and I became lazier.

7. What book(s) have you recently read?
Currently I’m reading The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro.

8. Do you like country music?
I am not a picky person when it comes to music. So, as long as it is good, I can enjoy it.

9. What’s your favorite movie?
This is a hard question and tough decision has to be made. If I were to live with one movie for the rest of my life… Pirates of The Caribbean!

No, I never heard of it.

I do. Mostly online news.

I was tagged by Clemence from Words & Dreams for this Book Tag. Thank you very much. Do check her lovely blog! If you wanted to find thorough book reviews or to read some great thoughts, you will find it there!

Thank  you bookfandom1001 for this interesting tag challenge! At first I’m actually confused if I need to answer the questions alone or giving another suitable examples from other books. No matter, I’ll answer them honestly and share some good characters if possible.

BOMB THE QUESTIONS AWAY!

Belle: someone who is willing to sacrifice themselves for someone they love?

Yes she is! Remember when her dad being kept prison by Beast and she exchanged her freedom instead? Even though she broke the promise soon after.

Sadly, I cannot any character that has this kind of value at the moment. Maybe Jack from Titanic, as we know instead of deciding to stay alive, he decided to stay in the water. (Yeah, there is room for two, I know. Imagine if Jack alive and we will have a happy ending.)

Beast: A good character development? 

I must say it is amazing how Beast actually changed! He was short tempered and unrefined manner for a prince but remember when Gaston charged the castle and put an arrow to Beast? He did not fight at all because in my opinion, he lost his will to live. When love leaves you, your life leaves as well!

I know better characters for this one, Ms Elizabeth Bennet! If you read Pride and Prejudice  (I’m sorry, I tend to hold myself by giving reference from this book, I can’t). Being judgmental can truly do you wrong.

Lumiere: A character that gives good relationship advice?

This good for courting and wooing Lumiere gives good relationship advice. But not that good! He is the romantic playful type of guy but I would stay away from taking his relationship advice.

Lola from Our Chemical Hearts will be someone I would trust my relationship with. A good friend and straight forward person too. She knows the best once she saw them!

Cogsworth: A loyal character (a person you can trust?)

He have this peculiar traits of personality but he is loyal enough. He can be worrying too much and all but… loyal.

A loyal character means someone who is dependable and someone you can trust. Gandalf from The Lord Of The Ring hold these values. He fell while fighting Balrog… He’s back. He off to fight Saruman… Alive and back. He said “Look to my coming, at first light, on the fifth day. At dawn, look to the East.” You guessed it  right, he is back again!

Mrs. Potts: A mothering character (a character that you would want as a mum)?

She is indeed! What else can you hope from her. I do wonder if all the kids are actually hers. hurmmm…

Another worth mentioning mothering character would be Kala from Tarzan. You know her, accepting the ‘hairless’ into the community and raising him and love him nonetheless.

Gaston: A character you hate that everybody else loves?

He is a typical narcissist blockhead! I can’t stop to wonder how stupid villagers can be in that story to be awed by him. Yes, I don’t like him… Hate him.

Another character that would fit this one would be The King from Hamlet. Yes, he was Hamlet stepfather, uncle and the person who killed his own brother! A month after he killed his brother, he married his sister-in-law. Even so, not sure to blame him or the queen on this matter.

The Enchantress: A person who put a curse on someone?

Well… You know  how they work… Putting curses here and there. Be it fairy, sorceress or enchantress.  But not really that annoying or pure evil. Beast who was the one who got himself into that mess.

It was from a book titled ‘The Halfian Progeny’ from Shamu Sybil that really annoys me with this curse thing. So basically, whenever that person reached a certain age, he or she will be given a mark or automatically invited (unwillingly) to a different world. Then, they will partake on a tournament that might killed them. Pure evil indeed. And from the current book, it was not mentioned who or  how this system (curse in my opinion) created.
